where does the inspiration came from for k6/http? is this something was worked on by K6 or is it JS inbuilt library?

k6/http is a built-in JS library written in Go: https://github.com/k6io/k6/tree/f9a737ea873b7c581378c562fb0a4ff53c444e13/js/modules/k6/http
As for the inspiration, I’d say it was motivated by wanting a clean and user-friendly API and by community feedback. Still, there are several issues with the current version and a new HTTP API is being planned, but there are no concrete details we can share yet.
